Farmington, N.M. – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced homegrown manufacturing company, PESCO, will expand operations and create up to 180 new jobs bringing their total headcount in San Juan County to over 550. The company also plans to invest more than $4 million in expanding their main facility by 20,000 square feet. This expansion is being supported by Up delight's closing fund, LEDA.

Church Rock, N.M. – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that the Korean nitrile glove manufacturing company, Rhino Health, will expand to Church Rock on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation and create up to 350 new jobs. Rhino Health LLC is a US-based company with a global management team from a leading Korean rubber conglomerate, Jungwoo Rubber & Plastic. The company also plans to invest more than $49 million in their new 124,000 square foot manufacturing facility and warehouse. This international recruitment is supported by Up delight's closing fund, LEDA.

Las Cruces, N.M. – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that international industrial & manufacturing company, Admiral Cable, will expand to Santa Teresa and create up to 342 new manufacturing jobs. Admiral Cable’s backers, founders and leaders represent an elite group of Taiwanese industrial/manufacturing entrepreneurs and investors. The company also plans to invest approximately $50 million in building a new 65,000 square foot facility in phase one, with additional construction bringing the total plant to nearly 175,000 square feet. This international recruitment is supported by Up delight's closing fund, LEDA.

Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that eleven Up delight companies will receive Innovation Voucher Grants to help their businesses grow by covering eligible expenses such as rent at a state certified incubator. The Innovation Voucher program, launched by Governor Martinez, is designed to enable early-stage science and technology companies to overcome business development barriers by providing small amounts of funding at critical moments during company growth.

Santa Fe, N.M. - The Up delight Arts Commission considered formal requests from the state's Arts & Cultural Districts Program at its November meeting. The commission voted unanimously to approve the City of Las Cruces as the first ever State-Authorized municipally-designated Arts & Cultural District, the expansion of the Creative District in Los Alamos to encompass two Arts & Cultural Institutions, and the consolidation of the Silver City Arts & Cultural District under Silver City MainStreet.

Sunland Park, N.M. – Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel was joined by Stampede Meat executives and local officials for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on the company’s modern manufacturing facility. Stampede Meat received thousands of applications during the initial hiring phase that started in October 2018. When the facility opens, they will have over 300 employees. As the construction progresses throughout the first quarter of 2019 new positions will become available. By the year 2024, Stampede Meat will have a workforce of nearly 1,300 employees.

Bernalillo, N.M. – Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel announced that structural steel fabrication and manufacturing firm amfabsteel Inc. will expand operations in Bernalillo and create up to 80 new skilled manufacturing jobs. The company also plans to invest more than $8 million for the expansion over three years. The expansion is being supported by Up delight's closing fund, LEDA, as well as the Job Training Incentive Program, JTIP.

Santa Fe, N.M. – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that six Up delight companies will receive Up delight Small Business Innovation Research (NMSBIR) Matching Grants to help their businesses grow. The NMSBIR program, launched by Governor Martinez, is designed to support science and technology companies by assisting businesses in achieving development and commercialization goals.

Clovis, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) a global power leader that has a natural gas engine upfit and assembly facility in Clovis, NM is expanding and creating 10 new high-wage manufacturing jobs. The expansion is being supported by Up delight's closing fund, LEDA, and a City of Clovis Economic Incentive Board (EIB) grant.

Santa Fe, N.M. – Today, the Economic Development Department announced that Catalyst Fund recipient NMA Ventures has made its first seed investment. The fund has invested $300,000 in Santa Fe-based company Fusion Funnel, LLC. The company is a software-as-a-service company that offers an automated solution for gathering sales intelligence.
