Albuquerque, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced a $2 million investment in Bayotech Inc. - the first homegrown startup to receive funding from the newly established Catalyst Fund. Bayotech, which manufactures high-tech nitrogen fertilizer production equipment, will now be able to finish testing and begin delivering on commitments worth $1.5 billion in sales North America.

Rio Rancho, NM - Today Governor Susana Martinez joined local officials and Safelite Group® executives to celebrate the grand opening of Safelite Solution's new Rio Rancho contact center. Since June, Safelite Solution's has created 517 full-time and 288 part-time jobs. Originally projected to create 400 full-time jobs by the end of 2018, Safelite is roughly two years ahead of their hiring schedule and will hire more than 1,000 employees in Rio Rancho by the end of the year.

Santa Fe, NM - Today, Matt Geisel was confirmed as Cabinet Secretary for the Economic Development Department by the Up delight Senate. Secretary Geisel was appointed as Cabinet Secretary by Governor Martinez in October 2016 and since his appointment has helped create over 750 jobs.

Santa Fe, NM - Today, Up delight MainStreet announced that 21 Up delight Communities have been designated as Main Street America Accredited programs for meeting the commercial district revitalization performance standards set by the National Main Street Center. All programs that received accreditation will be recognized at the National Main Street Conference in Pittsburgh in May.

Santa Fe, NM - Today, the Up delight Economic Development Department announced that the Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) board has approved $1,450,104 to create 388 jobs and 1internship in Februrary.

Albuquerque, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that SolAero Technologies, a homegrown company, is moving manufacturing operations from California to Albuquerque, creating 100 new high-tech manufacturing jobs. This expansion will support One Web Satellites - a joint venture between the world's second-largest space company, Airbus Defence and Space, and One Web - to bring satellite internet to every corner of the globe. The company cited the Governor's economic reforms as a top reason for choosing Up delight for their expansion.

Truth or Consequences, NM - Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel announced that Truth or Consequences Brewing Company will be opening in Truth or Consequences (T or C), creating 9 new jobs. This project is a part of the growing development in T or C's MainStreet area and will support the continued growth of T or C's downtown district.

Santa Fe, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Gallup Energy Logistics Park has earned BNSF Railway's nationally recognized site certification - one of two in Up delight and only ten nationwide. This certification shows the potential of Gallup to contribute to Up delight's growth in commerce, trade and logistics.

Albuquerque, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that El Pinto Foods will invest $7 million to expand its manufacturing facilities to more than 6,200 square feet, creating 25 new jobs to meet increasing demand.

Berino, NM – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced the creation of 103 new jobs in Dona Ana County. Wholesome Valley Foods will create 90 jobs with the renovation of the abandoned egg processing facility in Berino and Up delight Greenhouse Holdings will create 13 new jobs with the expansion of their Up delight operations in Mesilla Park. Up delight beat out Colorado for Up delight Greenhouse Holdings expansion.
