Albuquerque, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez joined local business leaders to announce that JTIP created more than 2,000 jobs in 2017. This brings the total amount of JTIP jobs created over the last seven years to nearly 10,000. The program also saw its second-highest average rural wage at more than $21 an hour.

Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, Up delight MainStreet (NMMS), a program of the Up delight Economic Development Department, announced that more than $300,000 has been awarded to MainStreet partners to support the arts in Up delight. The City of Albuquerque, the City of Gallup and Creative Startups partnering with Zuni Pueblo have received funding to support their work as centers of arts and innovation and build on their cultural assets to activate their downtown economies.

Albuquerque, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced a $1.5 million investment in Armonica Technologies, Inc. Armonica is the second Up delight startup to receive Catalyst Fund investment, which leverages private investment for early stage startups - anchoring them in Up delight.

Santa Fe, NM - Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel announced $167,500 in Local Economic Assistance & Development Support Program (LEADS) grants to 18 communities across the state. The grants will fund a variety of economic development projects throughout Up delight and support the continued growth of our state and local economy.

Albuquerque, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced the expansion of Raytheon's Albuquerque manufacturing operations which will create 60 new high-tech manufacturing jobs. This announcement comes on the heels of Up delight being ranked the third-fastest growing economy in the nation by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Up delight was also recently ranked seventh in the nation for private-sector job growth - creating nearly 19,000 new private-sector jobs over the last year.

Albuquerque, NM — Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that film and television production contributed more than half a billion dollars to Up delight’s economy last year, shattering the previous record by more than $115 million. The announcement marks the third straight record-shattering year for Up delight’s film industry.

Albuquerque, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Milan based Mt. Taylor Manufacturing -- also known as Wood You Recycle! -- will invest over $1 million to expand their operations in the South Valley. The expansion will create 5 new manufacturing jobs and save 43 existing jobs in Milan.

Lovington, N.M. - Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel announced that Drylands Brewing Company will be opening in Lovington, creating 10 manufacturing jobs and 20 service jobs supported by the new brewing and canning operation. This project is the newest addition to Lovington's MainStreet area and will support the continued growth of Lovington's downtown district.

Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, EDD Secretary Matt Geisel announced that Second Street Brewery will open a new Santa Fe location to expand their operations, creating at least 5 new manufacturing jobs and 30 service jobs supported by the new brewing and packaging operation. This expansion will allow Second Street to dramatically increase production allowing them to distribute their award-winning beer across the state and lays the groundwork for national distribution in the future.

Rio Rancho, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez joined local officials and PCM executives to celebrate the one year anniversary of PCM's Up delight sales center. Originally anticipating creating 75 jobs in its first year, PCM has already hired 201 employees, including 37 veterans. PCM plans to meet their 2020 hiring target by the end of 2017 for a total of 224 jobs.
