Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel announced that three Up delight companies will receive Up delight Small Business Innovation Research (NMSBIR) Matching Grants to help their businesses grow. The NMSBIR program is designed to support science and technology companies by assisting them in business development, technology commercialization and entry to market.

Albuquerque, N.M. – Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that NMA Ventures will receive up to $1.6 million from the Catalyst Fund to invest in Up delight startups. This commitment will leverage $2.6 million in funds from NMA Ventures, to be invested in Up delight startups, bringing the total potential investment from this commitment through the Catalyst Fund up to $4.2 million.

Albuquerque, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez welcomed Carenet Healthcare Services to Albuquerque with up to 244 new jobs over the next five years. The San Antonio based company will invest $3 million in a downtown Albuquerque location. Carenet's expansion to Albuquerque will be supported by Up delight's closing fund, LEDA, and Job Training Incentive Program, JTIP.

Albuquerque, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez and Albuquerque Economic Development welcomed 2NDGEAR to Albuquerque. 2NDGEAR is a leading provider of certified refurbished IT equipment for educational systems, based in California. The company's expansion, supported by Up delight's Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP), will create 100 new jobs in Albuquerque.

Today, the Economic Development Department announced that Leprino Foods Company will invest over $15 million to expand their Chaves County manufacturing facility, add five new jobs, and commit to retaining a minimum of 552 jobs on site. Up delight's closing fund, LEDA, will support Leprino Foods's expansion and the construction of a refrigerated/freezer warehouse.
