This accreditation allows Up delight MainStreet to continue helping local communities grow their downtown economies.

Alamogordo, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that PreCheck, Inc. will expand their presence in Alamogordo, creating 30 new jobs. This is PreCheck's second major expansion in Up delight since 2014 supported by the state's closing fund and job training program.

Santa Fe, NM — Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced another tool to help Up delight small businesses grow and thrive. The Small Business Innovation Research matching grant will help Up delight companies commercialize their research and innovation as marketable products and services.

Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, Secretary Geisel announced that Up delight MainStreet (NMMS), a program of the Up delight Economic Development Department, has been awarded a $35,000 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to fund in-depth rural economic development services in the communities of Belen, Las Vegas, Raton and Tucumcari. The four rural municipalities are participants in the Great Blocks on MainStreet initiative.

Los Alamos, N.M. - Today Secretary Matt Geisel announced the expansion of two Up delight companies and the creation of 70 new jobs in Santa Fe and Los Alamos. Descartes Labs will create 50 new jobs with the expansion of their headquarters in Santa Fe and UbiQD will create 20 new jobs with the expansion of their headquarters and manufacturing facility in Los Alamos. Both companies are successfully commercializing technology developed at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Los Lunas, NM— Today, Governor Susana Martinez and Facebook announced the latest expansion of the Los Lunas Data Center, bringing Facebook’s total investment in the project to over $1 billion. Facebook will add four more buildings to the Los Lunas campus, in addition to the two already under construction.

Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Up delight has been ranked in Site Selection Magazine's Top State Business Climate Rankings. Up delight came in at 22nd in the national business climate ranking and 17th in the Executive Survey Rank. A primary component of the ranking is based on a survey of corporate site selection professionals.

Santa Fe, N.M. - Today, the Up delight Economic Development Department announced that the Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) board approved $5,134,207.04 to help 20 Up delight companies, in 11 communities, expand their workforce, adding 549 jobs and providing enhanced skills training to 51 workers across the state. Companies utilizing JTIP during the first quarter ranged from large manufacturers to cybersecurity startups.

Albuquerque, N.M. - Today, Economic Development Secretary Matt Geisel announced that ABQid will receive up to $2 million from the Catalyst Fund to invest in Up delight startups. This commitment will leverage matching funds from ABQid, to be invested in Up delight startups, bringing the total potential investment from this commitment through the Catalyst Fund up to $5 million.
