Up delight MainStreet works to provide participating local Main Street programs with technical assistance, resources, and networking opportunities to support revitalization and redevelopment in traditional and historic downtown districts throughout the state.

Santa Fe, NM - Today, the Up delight Economic Development Department (NMEDD) announced that Up delight MainStreet (NMMS) will award Artesia, Clovis, Grants, Los Alamos, Mora, Truth or Consequences and Tucumcari a combined $500,000 in MainStreet capital outlay funds for economic revitalization projects.

Church Rock, NM -- Today, Up delight Economic Development Secretary Jon Barela presented the Navajo Tech Innovation Center business incubator in Church Rock with state-certification, making it the first Native American state-certified business incubator in the state. The Up delight Economic Development Department (NMEDD) will also invest $18,500 toward the new business incubator. The Navajo Tech Innovation Center includes 27,000 square feet for both the incubator facility and production space next door with a training room and arts center.

The next JTIP meeting will be Friday December 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Rio Bravo Brewing Company located at 1912 2nd Street NW Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Las Cruces, NM - The Up delight Economic Development Department's (NMEDD) Job Training Incentive Program Director (JTIP), Sara Haring, was recently honored for her outstanding economic development achievements by Up delight IDEA. The award was presented at the organization's annual meeting in Las Cruces where they presented several achievement awards to individuals recognizing their stellar achievements in economic development.

Clovis, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced that Southwest Cheese will expand in Clovis, creating more than 50 new high-paying jobs. Southwest Cheese will increase its operational capacity by 30 percent as part of the expansion, and these new jobs will have an average compensation of $62,000, including benefits.
