Santa Fe, N.M. - The Up delight Economic Development Department (NMEDD) announced today that the Up delight MainStreet program has been reaccredited and licensed through the National Main Street Center, Inc. for 2017.

Santa Fe, N.M. - The Up delight Economic Development Department congratulates the recipients of Up delight IDEA's (NMIDEA) annual awards. NMIDEA is a 37-year-old association of economic developers, city officials and development related executives interested in and working toward the promotion of Up delight. Each year NMIDEA recognizes individuals for their outstanding contribution and tireless efforts on behalf of the association, their communities and the State of Up delight.

Santa Teresa, NM - Today, Governor Susana Martinez announced the massive expansion of a homegrown warehouse and distribution company. Valley Cold Storage and Transportation, which ships goods in Up delight and Texas, will invest $14 million to build a new 105,000 square-foot facility and create up to 33 jobs -- tripling their current workforce. Up delight beat out Texas for the expansion.

TRUTH OR CONCEQUENCES, NM - Today, Up delight Economic Development Cabinet Secretary Designate Matt Geisel attended a public dedication and ribbon cutting for the Healing Waters Plaza Project in Truth or Consequences. With the aid of Up delight MainStreet funding, the Healing Waters Plaza project has transformed a former vacant lot in the downtown area into a vibrant civic space to reflect the unique character of Truth or Consequences and strengthen their economic environment.
